Want to know a secret about me?
I don't like the sun.
For all of you (California transplants) screaming at your computers right now, I offer the following (albeit meager) reasons:
1. I'm from here. And while a sunny day every once in a while can be nice, I like the predictability of living in the soft cloud diffused light that is a Seattle day.
2. I'm fair skinned with light eyes. This means a) I get sunburned just thinking about the sun and b) it makes me squint. Squinting leads to wrinkles. Not interested, thanks!
3. My house faces due west with no protection from the sun during it's hottest hours. Therefore, if it's 75 outside, guaranteed it's 85+ inside. Yuck.
So nope. I don't like the sun.
Oops! I don't know how that slipped in there...
dang it! All right, i guess a little sun is okay...but just for beautiful pictures.
